David Sandoval joined Milestone as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer in January 2026. Prior to joining Milestone Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Sandoval served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at MaxCyte, Inc., a publicly traded cell engineering company focused on enabling platform technologies. Before MaxCyte, Mr. Sandoval served as Head of Legal Affairs/Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Leadiant Biosciences, Inc., a research-based pharmaceutical company focused on developing novel and effective therapies for patients affected by rare diseases. He also served as Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Compliance Officer at Enzon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Sandoval has additionally served as a member of the advisory board of The Microbial, LLC, a probiotic startup. He began his legal career at major U.S. law firms.

Mr. Sandoval is a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars and earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law after receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University. He also holds a Certificate of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
