Leadership Team

Veronique Boulanger joined Milestone in January, 2017 and as Vice President of Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC), ensures that every stage of drug manufacturing is aligned with the highest standards of scientific and regulatory excellence. With more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Mrs. Boulanger has developed an expertise in drug discovery and development, project management, CMC regulatory affairs, and technology transfer.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Boulanger has worked extensively in both early- and late-stage drug development, with a focus on integrating scientific innovation and regulatory strategies to bring therapeutic products to market efficiently. Her cross-functional experience spans across small companies, enabling her to navigate the unique challenges that arise during drug lifecycle. Prior to joining Milestone Pharmaceuticals, Mrs. Boulanger was an independent consultant, where she provided strategic guidance to a variety of pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She also held key roles at Bioaxone Therapeutics, Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, and Thrasos Therapeutics where she contributed to the development of biologic and small peptide therapies aimed at treating neurodegenerative and chronic kidney diseases.

Mrs. Boulanger holds a M.Sc from McGill University and B.Sc in Biochemistry from Université de Sherbrooke.
